Gaston really is the most terrifying Disney villain because he could be anyone in the world.

THE FRENCH ROMNEY
There should be a show called “You’ll Never Find Out” where each week there’s a new story with a new set of characters and it always ends on a cliffhanger.
Well hello there satan
NO BUT THEN IN THE SEASON FINALE THEY HAVE LIKE 3 MINUTE SPOTS TO SHOW THE CONCLUSIONS FOR ALL THE STORIES
AND PLOT TWIST: All those unconnected stories? They connect like puzzle pieces in the end.
SOMEBODY MAKE THIS HAPPEN
Role Models vs Relatable Characters
Quick, list five fictional characters you can totally relate to. Maybe you’re thinking of…I dunno…Harry Potter, Spider-Man, Ferris Bueller, Jim Halpert, and Rory Williams. After all, they’re all “normal” people, aren’t they? They’re “normal” people who have been thrust into these crazy situations.
Well, I’m really sorry to say this, but you’re wrong. Try again.
Wouldn’t it be great if we really could relate to someone like Spider-Man? Someone so amazingly selfless who constantly fights the good fight even when the world hits back ten times as hard? Would it be great to truly relate to Jim Halpert, who never gave up on love, no matter how hopeless the situation seemed? Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could relate to the bravery and determination of Harry Fucking Potter?
I wish I could relate to Spider-Man, but I’m not. I’m hardly as selfless, hard-working, loving, and determined as he is. I’m not brave, I’m egotistical. I’m not determined, I’m scared. I’m not selfless, I’m remarkably selfish.
The characters I can relate to? The man-children. I’m talking Rob Fleming from High Fidelity. I’m Tom Hansen from (500) Days of Summer. I’m George Costanza, I’m Scott Pilgrim, I’m Charlie Kaufman (the Adaptation version). I’m the one who is self-loathing, confused beyond belief, scared but too stubborn to admit it…hell, too stubborn to admit much of anything…and who expects this great thing to happen to him at some point in his life, but will never see such a thing happen because his expectations are based off of Hollywood fantasies.
In a way, that depresses me. Nobody watches Seinfeld and wants to be George Costanza. They laugh at him and how hilariously pathetic he is. Or…I mean, maybe they laugh because they’re masking the fact that they can relate to such a bumbling idiot?
And, ultimately, that’s why we have characters like Peter Parker. His problems are relatable, and it’s within those problems that a person is defined. Peter handles them with all of the selflessness and knowledge he can possibly muster. “With great power” and all that. Whereas we may handle the same problem with a sense of entitlement, or with the lazy attitude of “Whatever’s easiest and gets it done fastest.”
So, in the end, we need characters like Rob Fleming or Tom Hansen. We need characters who mirror our attitudes and our flaws, and amplifies them to the umph degree, drawing our attention to them so that we may recognize and/or change. We also need characters like Peter Parker to serve as role models of sorts, to show us that, despite the Hollywood trickery and uncanny luck that fictional heroes have, it is possible to live the life of a decent person.
This has been a rant, and I have no clue how to conclude it.
doooddd
I freaking love him.
He also bought his horse from filming of Sleepy Hollow because he heard that it was going to be killed after filming.
He once recorded his voice asking a girl in a coma to wake up, because her doctor said it might help.
Say what you will about his recent movies or his mutually exclusive relationship with Tim Burton, You can’t say that Johnny Depp isn’t a quality human being.
a girl walks into a classroom wearing a spaghetti strap shirt. immediately every boy within a 50 yard radius gets a raging erection. the teacher attempts to present a lesson but to no avail, no one can hear over the sound of every male student masturbating to this girl’s shoulders. why couldn’t she just wear a long sleeved shirt
A light for those who need it in times of darkness.
I got my major fandoms in here holding a beacon of light for anyone who needs it in times of sadness and despair I wish I had a chance to fit a few more fandoms in.
This is actually ridiculously beautiful.
American children saluting the American Flag before it was changed to the “hand over the heart” style.

There was actually an Army unit that used the Swastika as it’s insignia until like 1939 when they replaced it.
